Adriane Garcia

Slim and brown-haired, 42-year-old Adriane Garcia was born on Monday, September 19, 1983, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is of Latin ethnicity and Brazilian nationality. Beyond her Brazilian origins, her career has taken her across continents, from reality TV to music to television presenting.

Adriane's path into the spotlight began early. At 14 she started modeling, but her ambitions soon stretched further. She appeared in soap operas and mini-TV series, then worked as a reporter for SporTV in Brazil. In 2002 she joined the SBT reality show Casa dos Artistas 3, where she lived in the house for 45 days. Her time on the show opened the door to music; Building Records asked her to record demos, and after approval she began work on her first album. That debut album, Vem Ficar Comigo, came out in early 2004.

In 2007 Adriane moved to Portugal to present the Record Internacional show Sucesso. She later became the first Brazilian to work as a TV presenter for Rádio e Televisão de Portugal. In April 2012 she posed for the Portuguese edition of Maxim magazine. She now calls Lisbon home, balancing her presenting career with her continued passion for music and performance.
